MADE BY US - is all of us coming together to create something meaningful: community, opportunity, conversation, support, expression, and shared experience. This market is rooted in inclusivity, creativity, and connection. We want to support local makers and artists not just by giving them a place to sell things, but by giving people a place to be seen, meet one another, collaborate, inspire each other, and feel part of something bigger.

  • Part of the WHY behind MADE BY US comes from Kat’s own history with making, creating, and community. Before TAOU, she grew up creating, dreaming, making things with her hands, and finding ways to express herself through various modalities and ideas.

    Markets were also part of her life early on. Her dad used to sell at markets, and over the years she experienced firsthand what goes into showing up as a maker too — the vulnerability of putting your work out into the world, loading the car, setting up tables, and more.

    There is something deeply personal about sharing what you make.

    And there is also something deeply powerful about spaces that allow people to begin.

    That’s part of the “why” behind MADE BY US.

    TAOU has always believed in “The Art of Us”, the idea that community itself is something we shape together. MADE BY US is an extension of that. A reminder that spaces become meaningful and what they are because of the people in them - participating, sharing, showing up, creating and more.

  • There are no vendor fees to participate!! We just want to create space for community, connection, creativity, and for people to share what they make and love with one another. We know how meaningful it can be to have a place to start, be seen, connect, and simply be included.

    The only thing we ask is that vendors bring their own setup/items needed for the day:


    tables, chairs, displays, payment systems, etc., as these will not be provided by TAOU.
