BREATHING ROOM

JUNE 19, FRIDAY

  • 12 pm

Come take a seat, take a shape, and take a breath or two and create more room for you and to breath. BREATHING ROOM. A Katonah-style practice is an invitation to work your breath like a tool to circulate, regulate, and reorganize from the inside out.

We’ll spend some time going over the why and set up, 30 minutes in pranayama, using long, rhythmic breathing, subtle movement, and a bit of sound to stir the system and build vitality followed by 10 minutes of meditation to let it all land, settle, and integrate.

A chance to clear out the stale air of spring, make room for what's next, and step into summer with a little more clarity, capacity, and breathing room.

    KATONAH :

In Katonah Yoga, the body is a house — and the breath is how we clean in, organize it and furnish it. Clearing corners, opening windows, creating more space for energy to move with ease and efficiency.

this 75 MIN pop up counts toward your Katonah Yoga hours :)

Again & Again

JUNE 20, SATURDAY

  • 5:45-7

Pattern repeats itself again and again, a way of getting to know something and ourselves through it.

Join us for a playful Katonah-inspired Summer Solstice practice built around rounds of salutations, creative patterns, breath, rhythm, and repetition.

In Katonah Yoga, repetition offers an opportunity to organize, circulate, and connect.

By returning to the same sequence again and again, we create a rhythm that allows the body to organize, the breath to deepen, and the mind to participate more fully. The practice isn't about mastering a shape; it's about meeting yourself differently each time you return to it.
