TIS TAOU

Tis TAOU Market is a celebration of the people, ideas, and creativity that make our community what it is. We want to support local makers and artists not just by giving them a place to share and sell their work, but by creating a space for people to gather, discover something new, exchange ideas, inspire one another, and feel part of something bigger.

The holidays are about more than what we give or receive. They're about who we gather with, what we share, and the connections we create along the way.

  • This isn’t about creating a perfect market. It’s about creating a place where people can gather, share space, support one another, and feel encouraged to keep making things — whatever “making” means to them.

  • Part of the WHY behind of offering markets at TAOU comes from Kat’s own history with making, creating, and community. Before TAOU, she grew up creating, dreaming, making things with her hands, and finding ways to express herself through various modalities and ideas.

    Markets were also part of her life early on. Her dad used to sell at markets, and over the years she experienced firsthand what goes into showing up as a maker too — the vulnerability of putting your work out into the world, loading the car, setting up tables, and more.

    There is something deeply personal about sharing what you make.

    And there is also something deeply powerful about spaces that allow people to begin.

    TAOU has always believed in “The Art of Us”, the idea that community itself is something we shape together. A reminder that spaces become meaningful and what they are because of the people in them - participating, sharing, showing up, creating and more.

  • We want this market to be accessible and affordable — vendor fee to table is $25

    The only thing we ask is that vendors bring their own setup/items needed for the day:


    tables, chairs, displays, payment systems, etc., as these will not be provided by TAOU.
